Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is looking for Project Managers to join our Concord or Chico office.

Project Managers are responsible for leading gas utility projects, working with a cross functional project team to plan, design, construct, and close out projects.

Project managers provide organizational, financial and scheduling services, attend site visits, and coordinate with client.

This work is vital for ensuring the safety and reliability of the gas pipeline system responsible for providing heat to families and businesses in our clients' service territories.

Consideration for Project Management position requires the following certifications or experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of project management experience
  • Technical communication
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Utility, Construction or Telecommunications Project Management experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's license
As a Project Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Place safety as the highest priority
  • Attend project meetings to provide critical path updates
  • Lead and facilitate meetings in a professional manner
  • Communicate and coordinate with project teams to complete projects by client deadlines
  • Create, monitor, and update project schedules
  • Create and update financial forecasts
  • Monitor and control budgets
  • Review and approve invoices
  • Provide project status reports to clients
  • Project management of internal resources and subcontractors
  • Travel to project sites as needed
