Responsibilities:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Assess, diagnose, and provide clinical services for individuals with behavioral health disorders
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions for treating emotional and behavioral disorders
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans
- Lead individual, group, or family sessions based on treatment plans
- Create initial treatment plans, coordinating additional services as needed
- Maintain documentation of therapy services according to professional standards
- Manage assigned caseload, participate in treatment team meetings
- Collaborate with staff to facilitate patient services
- Provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings
- Perform case management, discharge, or aftercare planning
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services
- Minimum one year experience working with similar patient population
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- State or national licensure for therapy providers or eligibility
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
- First aid certification may be required
