Behavioral Health Therapist III FT Days

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex behavioral health needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapies, including individual, group, and family sessions, to promote positive behavioral change and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Utilize medical necessity criteria and Level of Care (LOC) assessments to inform treatment decisions and ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate agitated patients and ensure a safe environment.
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- State of Arizona license provided by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
- 5 years of experience in behavioral health, with a focus on inpatient acute care services for seriously mentally ill individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes, health care practices, and standards, as well as principles and current practices of substance abuse treatment.
- CPR and CPI certifications.
- Bilingual-Spanish language skills.
- Experience with short-term solution-based therapeutic interventions and crisis/Emergency Department experience.
