Job SummaryThe Physical Therapist III provides high-quality Physical Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and program planning. This role requires a deep understanding of real situations to resolve complex issues and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to support patients and families achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform skilled evaluations through impairment testing and interpret findings to identify functional deficits.
- Develop treatment plans relevant to clinical findings, providing individualized treatment for patients' level of care and length of stay.
- Reassess patients' functional needs and adjust care plans as indicated, including status change documentation.
- Provide physical therapy modalities, such as iontophoresis, ultrasound, and electric stimulation, to promote patient recovery.
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatments and modalities, and provide home programs to support ongoing care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team processes, including collaboration with physicians, vendors, and other disciplines, to achieve patient and departmental goals.
- Valid, current license (AZ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners)
- Certificate Required: CPR-BLS
- 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist working in the field of Physical Therapy
- Advanced knowledge of Physical Therapy theory and practice
- Basic computer skills
