Position Overview:

Alvarez & Marsal is looking for an experienced individual to establish guidelines, policies, processes, and channels for communications, as well as set objectives and strategies for social media communications.

This role will have a dual focus:

  • Internal Communications:

Establish and ensure appropriate methodologies, best practices, and channels for communications are consistently applied. This individual will also oversee all communications for Corporate Services Leaders and ensure effective communication with all employees.

  • Social Channel Strategy & Governance:

Develop a roadmap for the evolution of A&M's social media channels and content strategy. Establish guidelines for the use of social channels across regions and provide training to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading communications and social media initiatives for global organizations.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Understand A&M's organizational structure and employee communities.
  • Develop communication guidelines and strategies to keep executive leadership connected with employees globally.
  • Establish a network of communications 'ambassadors' to enforce best practices.
  • Identify the need for new communication channels and technologies.
  • Provide guidance on social media best practices and assess performance.

Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting c-suite leadership in global organizations.
  • Experience in professional services organizations.
  • Strong background in modern communications strategies and social media management.
  • Ability to build consensus and engage with leaders effectively.

The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $175,000 annually, based on various factors including education and experience. A discretionary bonus program is also offered based on individual and firm performance.
