The Night Operations Department Supervisor plays a key role in leading a team of associates to provide customers with a remarkable shopping experience. This involves mentoring and coaching associates, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, managing performance, and ensuring adequate departmental support.

Day after day, the Night Operations Department Supervisor contributes to Lowe's mission by efficiently coordinating all non-sales operations at the store, thereby enhancing the overall shopping experience, boosting sales, and maximizing profitability.


In addition to the outlined duties, individuals in this role may sometimes be required to open or close the store or act as manager-on-duty.


Travel Requirements:

While this role typically does not involve frequent travel, occasional trips may be necessary for meetings, training sessions, or to assist other nearby stores.


What We're Looking For
  • Full-Time Position: Generally 39 to 40 hours per week, with additional hours possible based on store needs.
  • Overnight shifts are required for this position.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other job-related activities.
  • Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds unaided; heavier items may require assistance.

What You Need To Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years of retail experience.
  • Previous experience in guiding or supervising teams.
  • History of supporting and contributing to associate training and development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to acquire any necessary sales-related licenses or registrations as required by law.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in supporting frontend or backend operations within a retail setting.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Leadership experience with direct reporting responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with the home improvement retail sector.
  • Exposure to a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Prior involvement in a key-holder role with manager-on-duty duties.
  • Proficiency in store computer systems (such as Project Tool, Genesis, Sterling, M2O, Thin Client, etc.).

If a salesperson license is required by the state or local authorities for this position, you must either possess the license or pass the mandatory exam within sixty (60) days of starting the job.
