Job Summary:

The Alternative Transportation Manager (ATM) manages all bicycle and pedestrian programs on campus, including: oversight of the Student Transportation Council, Commute Planning Assistance, micro mobility, car-sharing, carpooling, and ridesharing partnerships, the annual Campus Bike Count, and the Sustainable Transportation Internship. The ATM oversees the Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Library via supervision of the Bike Shop Manager, advises on the Wildcat Wheels programs, fleets, and facilities, and incorporates Wildcat Wheels into education and outreach initiatives. The ATM manages all transportation incentive programs, including but not limited to the Bicycle Voucher Program, Cash Out, and Commute Club. The ATM will also regularly benchmark programs implemented at other universities around the country by attending relevant conferences, webinars, and professional development trainings, and will maintain the Bicycle Friendly University application and other national certifications as relevant. Furthermore, the ATM will implement innovative and creative initiatives designed to facilitate, encourage, promote, and increase biking, walking, and other forms of alternative transportation as a desirable means of getting to, from and around campus while reducing use of single-occupancy vehicles. Total budget oversight in excess of $350,000. Other duties as assigned.
