Soliant is working with a school in San Jose, CA, and is seeking a contract School Psychologist for the Spring semester.
We seek applicants who can commit between 2-5 days a week of their time, enjoy working with elementary school students, and are able to perform the full range of typical School Psychologist duties.
Duties include:
- Providing direct or indirect services including:
- Observations
- Data collection
- Review of student records collecting data
- Conferences with teachers and parents
- Student interviews
- Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Counseling (individual and group)
- Behavior Intervention Plans
- Executing psychological assessments, interpreting data, and writing reports in accordance with District, State and Federal guidelines
- Attending IEP, team, school, and district-level meetings
- Making referrals to resources to facilitate educational and behavioral interventions recommended for student success.
- Participating in mediations, administrative reviews, hearings and due process proceedings, as needed.
- Participating in disciplinary proceedings: expulsions, manifestations, and causation meetings.
