Job Summary:
This Regional Administrator for Rural and Tribal Medical Education is part of an OSU team of people who are invested in increasing the number of primary care Osteopathic physicians in rural and underserved Oklahoma. The position will work in and around the Oklahoma City area and will perform a wide variety of responsibilities such as coordinating schedules of medical students, act as the liaison for OSU-CHS personnel and healthcare facility personnel in the South-central Oklahoma area and perform administrative duties for the Office of Clinical Education. Travel is required approximately 20% of the time primarily within your region of the state. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Ability to lift and carry 8-10 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations. Special Instructions to Applicants Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalentexperience
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience or education in a medical setting.
• Computer skills: MS Word, Power Point, Excel and proficient use of Internet, Email, and Websites.
• Must be self-motivated, able to set own schedule, meet deadlines, able to work
independently and be an active team member.
• Travel is required; Occasional overnight stay may be required
• Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
• Master’s degree
• Public Relations, Marketing, Business Management, Hospital Administration
• Experience in a hospital or medical environment
• Experience with distance learning or technical support
• Experience presenting to large groups
