- Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance on complex accounting matters related to fixed assets, leases, and consolidations.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations impacting fixed assets, leases, and consolidations, and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews, providing necessary support and documentation.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to fixed assets, leases, and consolidations.
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals responsible for fixed assets, leases, and consolidations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the fixed assets, leases, and consolidations areas.
- Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, SOX compliance, and other ad hoc tasks
- Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury) to provide accounting support and insights.
- 8 + years of overall accounting experience required; CPA preferred but not required
- 3+ years of Public Accounting experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial role, leading and developing a team
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent
- GL accounting experience with managing accounting and reporting for multiple entities
- Skilled with ERP systems, experience with NetSuite is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and relevant accounting standards for fixed assets, leases (under ASC 842), and consolidations
- Demonstrate familiarity with transfer pricing concepts and regulations.
- Self-motivated team player with the capability to identify, resolve and prioritize differing business issues
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Strong business acumen and experience working under fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
- System implementation experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
