As a site reliability engineer (SRE) on our team, you’ll help the Intelligence Community develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to further your skills in cloud technologies while continuing to grow your SRE experience.

You Have:

  • Experience with implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while isolating and resolving problems involving the applications, operating system, hardware, communications, or infrastructure

  • Experience with installs and loads operating system and application software

  • Experience with integrating new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of corporate systems

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with hand-off of problem reports to appropriate client leadership

  • Experience with providing systems and account administration consistent with system requirements to support remote system service

  • Experience with providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

  • Experience with troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
