The Opportunity:
As a Senior Systems Engineer and Digital Engineering practitioner on our team, you’ll have the chance to lead the development and upgrades of ground systems by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You will help lead a diverse team of technically competent engineers, each rising in their careers. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skill set into areas, including model-based design, model-based systems engineering, digital engineering, and technical analyses. You Have:
8+ years of experience with systems engineering activities
2+ years of experience with using or applying MBSE tools or a project that uses these products
Experience with leading engineering teams
Knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts regarding the use of engineering models across the life cycle, authoritative life cycle data, tool chains, digital threads, and digital twins
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting engineering tools, including Dassault 3DS, SBE Vision, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools, such as CATIA and SolidWorks
Experience in a Department of Defense program acquisition office
Experience with conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions systems modeling, and developing detailed designs in a systems model in support of product development
Experience in developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools
Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master’s degree in Engineering
SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
