Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of digital engineering and MBSE strategies to drive innovation and efficiency in ground systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate digital engineering solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in digital engineering and MBSE tools and methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform digital engineering and MBSE strategies.
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering activities, with a focus on digital engineering and MBSE.
- 2+ years of experience with using or applying MBSE tools or a project that uses these products.
- Experience leading engineering teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts, including engineering models, authoritative life cycle data, tool chains, digital threads, and digital twins.
- Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
- Experience with supporting engineering tools, including Dassault 3DS, SBE Vision, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools, such as CATIA and SolidWorks.
- Experience in a Department of Defense program acquisition office.
- Experience conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions systems modeling, and developing detailed designs in a systems model in support of product development.
- Experience developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools.
- Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP.
