Payroll Manager Consultant

Job Overview
We are actively seeking an experienced **Payroll Manager Consultant** to assist our client with immediate payroll management needs. This is a contract role, offering hybrid work flexibility, and requires expertise in multi-state payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Review and manage PTO accruals.
- Handle payroll tax compliance and filings.
- Supervise and support the payroll team.
- Analyze and reconcile wages, benefits, and taxes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and deliver various payroll-related reports.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll management experience.
- Extensive experience in multi-state payroll.
- Proficiency in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or other large payroll systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
