We are looking for candidates passionate about craftsmanship, teamwork, and delivering user capability to join SAIC supporting the Air Force weather community on the Technology Application Development & Sustainment (TADS) contract. 


The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team to provide hands-on experience designing, installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining enterprise systems. Candidates will also support the shift to cloud frameworks for some enterprise functionality.

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree and zero years of experience
• Knowledge of one or more operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or AIX
• Experience with infrastructure automation approaches and tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Experience working with container based approaches
• Familiarity with cloud computing such as AWS
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure
• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, Theory of Constraints)
• Must have a collaborative mentality with an ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to advise technicians, engineering designers or other technical support personnel as needed and recommended enterprise level system changes
• Evaluate factors such as reporting formats, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine appropriate hardware and/or software configuration
• Experience ensuring DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) are understood and solutions are automated
• Troubleshoot outages or other system errors and implement/recommended fix actions, as necessary
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
• Operating System Certificates validating depth of knowledge


SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
