The successful candidate will be appointed as the Director of the Francis Owen Blood Research Laboratory (FOBRL), a large animal research facility. Much of the work at FOBRL has been continuously funded by NIH grants and contracts since 1947. In addition to enabling novel translational research, FOBRL represents an excellent training resource for graduate students and veterinarian trainees.
