Job Summary:

The Laboratory Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing leadership to the laboratory staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the laboratory's daily operations, including testing, quality control, and patient safety
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as CLIA and CAP
  • Provide leadership and guidance to laboratory staff, including training and development
  • Collaborate with hospital administrators and other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and quality
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree with four years experience or BA/BS with six years experience or HEW certified with ten years experience
  • Prior Lab Director experience highly preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
