Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Lincoln, RI Duration: December to March (Full-time, Contracted through Soliant Education)
Job Description: Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Lincoln, RI. This full-time role will extend from December through March, providing an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives during the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language abilities.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive care for students.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress; adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing valuable input for educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Rhode Island state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required for consideration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
