- This position is responsible for the daily coordination and deployment of staffing resources to departments across Cox Medical Center Branson, facilitation of patient throughput, and implementation of operational plan surrounding scope of care or service in relation to the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Addresses facility issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care. Provides oversight and management of operational, regulatory, and business processes across nursing services. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management, and problem solving skills required.
- Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience
- Preferred: At least one year in area of specialization and management experience in the inpatient setting (i.e. charge nurse, assistant nurse manager) AND three (3) years of clinical experience
- Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
- Exhibits valuable time management skills
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to efficiently use the electronic medical record and staff scheduling program
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
- Required: BLS and ACLSmust be obtained within 90 days
- Required: Must obtain PALS within one year of hire
