Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School English Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield, SC. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging English curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational objectives.
  • Teach a variety of English courses, including literature, writing, grammar, and communication skills.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore diverse perspectives, express themselves creatively, and develop their analytical abilities.
  • Utilize a range of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, essays, and other assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a positive learning community and support students' academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license in English (or eligibility to obtain certification in South Carolina).
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching English at the high school level, with a strong knowledge of literature, language, and writing instruction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
  • Passion for literature, language arts, and empowering students to become thoughtful readers, writers, and communicators.
