3rd Grade Teacher

Employment Type: Full-time Contract Position through Soliant Education

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 3rd Grade Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield, SC. As a 3rd Grade Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners' academic and personal development during this critical stage of their education.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum in alignment with state standards and educational objectives for 3rd grade students.
• Teach a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies, utilizing effective instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued, safe, and motivated to learn.
• Establish clear expectations for behavior and academic performance, and provide positive reinforcement and support to encourage student success.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, and use data to inform instruction and support individual student growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress, address concerns, and collaborate on strategies to support student learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education (or eligibility to obtain certification in South Carolina).
• Previous experience teaching elementary school students, preferably in 3rd grade.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and effective instructional practices for early elementary education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young students.
