We are looking to fill a Line of Business (LOB) Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager responsible for the management of the Hardware Design & Analysis (HDA) Department's Hardware Operations team for the Sensors & Global Sustainment (S&GS) LOB.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Line of Business (LOB) Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
--Workforce management of the Hardware Operations needs within the LOB
-Operational coordination, within the LOB, with Prod Ops, Quality, GSC, and Program Area CE’s on MFC Senior Leadership status and review
-HDA department process improvement adoption by the LOBs.
-Management and development of the team
- Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
- Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.
- Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program
Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:
• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Must have existing S&GS Production program role
• Current HDA Department E&T Manager (established L-code)
• Recent Engineering Production or Supplier Tech Lead experience within the Hardware Operations section
• Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
