Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer III to join our team at Scientific Research Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly supporting the Hardware Team within the Joint Program Office (JPO) Maintenance Systems Program Management Office (MxS PMO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations to the PMO regarding hardware upgrades and feasibility of installing hardware in new sites and upgrading existing sites.
  • Assist in the management and tracking of hardware procurements and deliveries.
  • Participate in strike teams and working groups to provide input on the best course of action.
  • Analyze and evaluate user requirements to define problems, data availability, report requirements, and system design problems.
  • Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field and five years work-related experience or a Master's degree and three years work-related experience in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Leadership skills, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and short-term and long-term planning skills.
  • Experience with F-35 ground support equipment Information Systems (IS), including technical specifications of the current PMA laptops, PMD Readers, SOUv2, MPE, etc.
  • Current ALIS administration and sustainment.
  • Knowledge of establishing and fielding IT equipment in a variety of DoD environments.
