Position Summary:

The Snider lab has an open position for a postdoc to study the mechanisms of Giant Axonal Neuropathy using patient-derived cellular (iSPCs) and mouse models.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

PhD or similar degree.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

Experience with human iPSC culture and neuronal differentiation is a required.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:

Experience with cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry (e.g., protein purification, proteomics), and/or microscopy and image analysis are preferred. Prior experience in biochemistry, proteomics, and bioinformatics analysis is strongly desired. Prior experience in the field of molecular and cellular neuroscience is also preferred.
