Job Description:

As a High School Algebra Teacher in our school, you will have the opportunity to empower students with essential mathematical skills and prepare them for future success. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging algebra lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment. You will play a vital part in helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective Algebra curriculum and lesson plans in alignment with state standards.
• Create a classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement, critical thinking, and a love for mathematics.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to support their mathematical growth.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Maintain an organized and well-equipped classroom to facilitate effective learning.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• South Carolina teaching certification with a Mathematics endorsement.
• Previous experience teaching Algebra at the high school level is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Algebra, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
