Job Description:

As a High School English Teacher, your role is to nurture students' communication skills, critical thinking, and love for literature. You'll create engaging lessons, assess student progress, and foster an appreciation for English language and world literature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver English curriculum in line with state standards.
• Create a classroom that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
• Assess and provide feedback to support students' development.
• Use various teaching methods to engage diverse learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field.
• South Carolina teaching certification in English.
• Previous high school English teaching experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and literature.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
