Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Nashua, NH. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care and will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to enhance clients' communication abilities and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Treatment Planning: Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each clients needs, goals, and functional abilities.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy services to clients using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress.
  • Family and Caregiver Support: Educate and support families and caregivers by providing strategies and tools to reinforce therapy goals and improve communication skills at home.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including physicians, psychologists, educators, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with developments in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities and contribute to public awareness about speech and language disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid New Hampshire state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical, school, or healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Technology: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology.
