Key Responsibilities- Care for emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Inspect students for cleanliness and communicable diseases, and provide follow-up as required
- Contact parents to advise them of their child's illness, if necessary
- Notify the school office of students released due to illness
- Under the direction of the Principal, inquire into unexplained pupil absences
- Check immunization records and notify parents of deficiencies
- Arrange and perform medical screenings as necessary
- Coordinate referrals for physical exams, clinics, and screenings for families in need
- Maintain health, medication, clinic, and examination records
- Current licensed NH Registered Nurse
- Certified in Basic Life Support CPR and AED
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Prior experience with student or patient database information systems and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with pediatric, adolescent, or urgent/emergency care preferred
