Business Analyst

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity that will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and defining business processes and requirements to build and roll out scaleable solutions. This Business Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions align with the business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements by conducting interviews and meetings to gather comprehensive and accurate information
- Create clear, concise, and well-organized documentation of business processes, user stories, and functional requirements
- Assist in defining data requirements and work closely with data analysts to ensure data quality and integrity
- Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams
- Act as a liaison to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and expectations
- Work with development teams to design solutions that meet business requirements
- Validate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the system meets business expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is a plus
