Vaco is hiring for an Accounting Specialist located in Delray Beach, FL. This is a new role for a growing accounting team. The right individual will possess a positive attitude, high attention to detail and an enthusiastic team-player mentality.

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day activities including classification and assignment of various internal codes. Review vouchers, requisitions, and purchase orders for completeness, accuracy, conformity to policies, procedures, and/or agreements.
  • Assist with receivables, payables, inventory, processing of deposits.
  • Compute, classify, and record data.
  • Professionally communicate accounting matters with customers and vendors.
  • Organize/maintain filing and storage.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • At least two years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience in a busy environment.
  • Strong skills in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely accurate and detail oriented.
  • Exceptional organizational skills – deadline oriented with the ability to prioritize work assignments and use time in the most effective way.
  • Capacity to anticipate with the ability to think ahead and plan accordingly.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing and/or distribution environment a plus.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
