KBR is seeking an Engineering Systems Specialist, to join our team. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231). E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231) is responsible for providing the E-2C Hawkeye, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, Hawkeye 2000 and the C-2A Greyhound fleet with acquisition strategy, logistics and sustainment solutions in support of the warfighter’s mission.In this role you will team up with other professionals in providing support services for program acquisition, engineering, integration, and sustainment planning. Direct support for Global Lightning, NIFC21, CEA3, and E2IAB programs.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development of program acquisition strategies. Prepare documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Statement of Work (SOW), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), funding documents and Memorandum of Agreements.

  • Responsible for administration, design, selection, modification, and training related to engineering applications required for product delivery.

  • Develop schedule plans to meet program requirements.

  • Responds to and execute data drills, analyze data, prepare program briefs, and program status reports.

  • Evaluates the project requirements and provide solutions and feedback regarding feasibility and cost of engineering project requirements.

  • Participates in business and technical methodologies to provide support of hardware, software and service acquisition and life cycle management.

  • Plan and conducts work requiring judgment and independent evaluation in development, modification, and selections of program solutions to engineering systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required. Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Must have at least 4 years of related experience.

  • An active Top Secret security clearance is required.

  • Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A current Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years is required.

  • Must work on-site, remote work will not be considered for this role.
