Location: Paso Robles, California

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our educational team in Paso Robles, California. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional speech and language therapy services to students, fostering their communication abilities and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough speech and language evaluations.
  • Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Deliver direct therapy to students, both individually and in groups.
  • Work closely with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student development.
  • Track and record student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current California State License in Speech-Language Pathology (issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (or eligibility for this credential).
  • Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
