Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address individual communication needs, ensuring a tailored approach to each student's unique requirements.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services, leveraging expertise in speech-language pathology to support academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for students, promoting effective communication and academic success.
  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to achieve positive outcomes, maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration, contributing to the development of comprehensive plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Stay informed about best practices in speech-language pathology, engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance expertise and stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active licensure in California
  • Certification from SLPAB and CTC
  • CCC from ASHA
  • Strong understanding of special education policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience in educational settings preferred
