What you'lldo:

  • Lead andsupervise a maintenance crew of 3-6 technicians through all levelsof
    Gulfstream scheduled and unscheduled maintenance toinclude: 12/24/36/72 month
    inspections, 5000 landinginspections, engine changes and discrepancytrouble
    shooting. At times will work multipleaircraft.
  • Manage labor hours, materials andcrew members efficiently. Responsible for the on
    timecompletion of their work orders while maintaining attention todetail, excellent
    customer service and qualityworkmanship.
  • Working with the Shop Foreman,keeps customers up to date on the status oftheir
    aircraft. As time permits, learns on the job theduties and responsibilities of theShop
    Foreman.
  • Working with HumanResources, participates in the interviewing and selection oftheir
    staff. Writes and delivers effective employeeperformance evaluations and conducts
    counseling sessionswith crew members as needed.
  • Responsible forthe on-going development and training of their staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 years Gulfstream maintenanceexperience any model GII through G550
    performingscheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include: 12/24/36/72month
    inspections, able to perform engine runup.
  • Airframe and Power plant License Required,high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must qualify as an Inspector.
  • 1 yearof supervisory experience required.
  • Basicknowledge of operating a personal computer or laptop.
  • Knowledge of job-specific machines and tools, includingtheir designs, uses, repair, and
    maintenance.
  • Capable of repairing machines or systems using the neededtools
  • Ability to determine the kind of toolsand equipment needed to do a job
  • Able toperform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when andwhat kind of
    maintenance is needed.
  • Capable of determining causes of operating errors anddeciding what to do about it.
  • Able to performtests and inspections of products, services or processes toevaluate quality or
    performance.
  • Able to install equipment, machines, wiring, or programsto meet specifications
  • Ability to controloperations of equipment or systems
  • Ability touse logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses ofalternative
    solutions, conclusions or approaches toproblems.
  • Able to monitor gauges, dials orother indicators to make sure a machine isworking
    properly.

Salary: $50-63 perhour based on experience
