What You Will Be Doing

The Production Tooling Planner will be responsible for the job functions/roles listed below:

• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers.

• Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases.

• Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing.

• Maintains progress reports and other related records.

This position is in Greenville, SC Discover Greenville.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must have at least 1 year of aircraft, tooling and/or aviation related experience.

- Experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings/blueprints, engineering orders and process specifications

- Experience with Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM).

- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with metal working and fabrication shop functions

- Familiarity with tool fabrication and basic knowledge of metal types and usage

- Familiarity with production environment and production tooling

- Associate Degree and/or 3 years demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/engineering related tasks.

- F-16 experience

- Aircraft maintenance, production and/or modification/ general manufacturing experience.

- Previous experience writing manufacturing work instructions

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

- Experience with CAPP/SFM, SAP.

- Experience with multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing assignments in a variety of cross-functional areas.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
