Position Overview: The Director, Sourcing Analytics and Compliance plays a pivotal role within CMA CGM's Procurement team, responsible for strategically engaging service providers to ensure compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), company policies, and regulations. This role is instrumental in safeguarding the CMA CGM brand reputation while promoting operational excellence and cost efficiency across sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically engage with service providers to ensure compliance with CSR, company policies, and regulatory requirements, minimizing reputational risk.
  • Support vendor engagement, performance reporting, and negotiation efforts through comprehensive cost analysis and measurement.
  • Assist Vice President in contract management, data analysis, presentation, vendor reviews, CSR initiatives, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Cost Control, Operations, Finance, Trade, and Sales to optimize costs and service quality.
  • Lead the team in developing reference materials, cost analysis frameworks, and vendor service reviews.
  • Enhance performance reporting tools to ensure visibility of progress and areas for improvement.
  • Manage sourcing workflows to optimize team focus and performance.
  • Improve contract management processes for enhanced flow, visibility, and compliance.
  • Develop and enhance inland tariff and network cost analysis to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Drive development and communication of Vendor Onboarding systems to ensure CSR and regulatory compliance.
  • Influence stakeholders to support CSR and compliance initiatives aligned with business and customer requirements.
  • Enhance analytical processes through digitization and utilization of market intelligence tools.
  • Promote cost-saving initiatives and model network optimizations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of Terminal, Port, and Intermodal Operations and associated costs. Familiarity with contract structures and vendor management activities. Experience in sourcing systems and analytical model development.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Excel (including formulas and pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint. Effective negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven track record in staff management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing analytics, or related field.
  • Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
