THE ROLE


PlayOn Sports is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and managing key client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our strategic accounts. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets while fostering long-term partnerships.


Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:


Client Relationship Management:


• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key clients.

• Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide strategic solutions.

• Act as the main point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring excellent communication and responsiveness.


Strategic Planning:


• Collaborate with internal teams to develop account plans aligned with clients' goals.

• Identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling based on a deep understanding of clients' needs and industry trends.

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximize account growth and profitability.


Revenue Generation:


• Meet and exceed revenue targets by driving sales and identifying new business opportunities.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

• Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.


Customer Satisfaction:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving client issues promptly.

• Gather client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to enhance products and services based on client needs.


Market and Competitor Analysis:

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

• Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market intelligence.


THE PERSON


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Strategic Account Manager or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of sales principles and business development strategies.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term relationships.

• Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
