Seattle, United States Amazon Full time
DESCRIPTION

We build commerce services to support merchants in growing their direct to consumer (DTC) ecommerce businesses. We're looking for an experienced technical product manager to enable developers to build innovative shopping experiences and ecommerce applications for the fast-growing DTC segment which is projected to grow to $700B in 10 years in the US.

As a Senior PMT on the developer experience, you will lead product strategy, turning customer insights and feedback into plans that accelerate delivery of the right product for our developer customers. You will work directly with dedicated engineering teams and senior leadership to drive product development for developer-facing products influencing fundamental technical design decisions, product roadmap, go-to-market plans and long-term strategy.

Our ideal teammate will possess a strong product management background, have experience leading large-scale technical products for developers. You are naturally curious, data-driven and entrepreneurial as you take end-to-end ownership for your product. You are the kind of leader who anticipates bottlenecks, deftly navigates ambiguity, makes informed trade-off decisions and skillfully balances the needs of the business versus technical constraints. You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills that help you build strong partnerships with colleagues and influence senior leaders. If you enjoy cutting through ambiguity, eliminating complexity and innovating on behalf of customers, come join us

Key job responsibilities

  1. Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy for Buy with Prime developer-facing interfaces.
  2. Deeply understand the technology that underpins our developer experiences and collaborate closely with your engineering partners to support the long term technology strategy for our integration products.
  3. Work closely with developers to understand friction and collaborate with engineering counterparts on the roadmap to address gaps, identify dependencies and clear blockers, balancing impact vs. engineering cost.
  4. Champion the ideal end-to-end experience for developers and business decision makers as they consider integrating Buy with Prime.
  5. Define the success metrics for features or services to track performance, deep-dive on issues and uncover trends and patterns.
About the team
Buy with Prime is helping people re-imagine the way they shop. Our vision is to enable every entrepreneur in the world to reach every customer in the world through every channel they can imagine. Buy with Prime is a new way to extend Prime shopping benefits-including fast, free shipping, seamless checkout experience, and free returns-to merchants' own online stores, ultimately increasing selection for Prime members. Buy with Prime is an exciting next step in our mission to help merchants of all sizes grow their business-whether on Amazon or beyond.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  2. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  3. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  4. Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
  5. 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  6. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
  2. Experience in building APIs or developer-facing products.
