Associate Brand Manager

Are you ready to bring your ideas and creativity to the team? With Hasbro's strategic partnership with Disney, we have the exciting opportunity to develop action figures, vehicles, playsets and role-play product for the beloved Star Wars brand and bring them to life with creative storytelling & marketing. This role will support the global brand strategy and product development processes for the FAN consumer.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, high energy, initiative-taking, and a responsive team member with both a strong creative and financial acumen and strategic-based judgment. This person has an entrepreneurial mind set and can build strong relationships with cross functional teams to achieve their goals. Top candidates will have a background in product development, marketing, and entertaining consumers through best-in-class product experiences – experience working with licensors is a plus.
A day in the life as an Associate Brand Manager:
-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Design & Development, Brand Writing, Project Management, Packaging, Engineering, and Finance to assist in bringing innovative and profitable products to market.
-Become the global consumer insights and competitive market segment specialist to contribute to insight-led product development
-Partner with regional marketing teams to understand business needs, retailer trends and challenges, share best practices, identify growth opportunities, and provide guidance to inform local plans.
-Manage critical data entry and forecasting information; additionally, ensuring the integrity of that information throughout internal systems across the portfolio.
-Help deliver highly impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
-Provide timely and consistent communication of brand activity and key information to internal business partners.
-Analyze data and share insights on product performance and marketing impact.
-Assist in the creation of consumer-facing assets for advertising and marketing messaging
-Assist in the development of our overall go-to-market strategy.
-Develop a trusted relationship with Disney partners
-Marrying & balancing strategy, creativity, being analytical, leveraging insights & gut
What you will bring:
-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
-2-5 years’ prior work experience in Marketing OR Consumer Goods
-A proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach, and an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn and problem-solve across the business
-Ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a cross-functional team
-Motivated self-starter with strong project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints while creatively solving problems.
-High attention to detail and driven nature to execute with excellence
-An entrepreneurial spirit and strong interest to express and develop your creative and financial skill set
-A consumer-centric mentality, with the ability to get into their minds to make recommendations that guide the brand
-Ability to analyze data and interpret quantitative and qualitative data relating to our consumers and brands in support of insight-driven recommendations
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at using story to persuade an audience with intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
