Job Responsibilities
  • Draft data license agreements, amendments, NDAs, statements of work and related legal documents with limited oversight.
  • Provide clear contractual analysis and advice to internal clients on legal risks and business terms to drive commercial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance of commercial agreements with applicable legal requirements and company positions.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to drive improvements to the contract review process and train internal clients and stakeholders on legal issues.
  • Manage and organize contracts repository, develop and refine templates and conduct research on preferred legal terms and negotiating positions.
Requirements
  • At least 7-10 years significant experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.
  • Bachelor's Degree required/Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Capable of working with a high degree of independence, limited oversight required.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a global, fast-paced environment under tight timelines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Positive energy with strong problem-solving abilities on complex matters to provide practical and creative solutions to mitigate risk and achieve business goals. Embraces continuous improvement and curiosity.
  • Great attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills and exemplary interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with senior business leaders.
  • Have a track record of positive collaborative experiences with the ability to manage projects comfortably and effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Negotiations experience is preferred.
  • Experience with implementing a contract management system, a plus.
  • Experience working in the consumer data and technology industry, a plus.
  • In-house legal department experience preferred.

Location

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $135,000.00.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
