Job Description:As a Facility Maintenance Worker, you will perform interior and exterior preventative and repair maintenance at the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Spring training facility. including but not limited to general maintenance requests, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliances. You will be required to communicate effectively, with team members and support staff. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
  • Troubleshooting and/or repair of HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall.
  • Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb ladders and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be willing and able to accommodate shift changes including weekends, evenings, and/or nights depending on events. 
Qualifications
  • Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills.
  • Able to work competently with basic hand tools.
  • Will be required to lift, maneuver, position, remove and install heavy items. Must be physically capable of performing these tasks with assistance or alone.
  • Successfully pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be a TEAM player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity on personal as well as professional level.
  • Safely drive and skillfully operate power equipment and hand tools involved in building maintenance,              repair, and construction.
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.
