Responsiblities

  • Manage, execute, and improve day to day operations to achieve operational excellence.
  • Track, analyze, and improve KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Review project scope for accuracy, including review of bill of materials, layout and site conditions, permit requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Assist with permit application document generation and submission.
  • Coordinate with office and installation teams to build the upcoming installation schedule.
  • Release new orders to production and oversee internal manufacturing activities and preparation of jobs.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is well managed and that all jobs are staged with the right materials so that additional material deliveries to the jobsite are kept to a minimum.
  • Conduct weekly sales/install meetings to review and share pertinent information.
  • Ensure we provide a first-class customer service experience addressing all customers questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide quantity take off for procurement of job lot materials.
  • Manage activities of subcontractors.
  • Meet safety, productivity and quality standards set by our company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years in a service/installation related field/industry in a management/leadership role with 20+ direct reports. Specific experience in the fencing industry preferred.
  • Degree in Business Management/Construction Management or equivalent is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and Proficiency with computers specifically Google Workspace Products (G-Mail, Sheets, Docs) and CRM software
  • Highly skilled in verbal and written communications
  • Valid Connecticut Driver's License
  • Excellent leadership skills and a proactive nature leading to a bias for action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, mentor and bring a diverse group of people together to work effectively
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small or large group situations to customers, homeowners and employees in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make prudent decisions
  • Ability to Lift 80 lbs
