The Opportunity: As the VP of the Authentication Business Unit, you'll be a pivotal player in our global strategy. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Identity & Access Management, you'll have full P&L responsibility and the autonomy to shape the future of our Authentication offerings. This is a unique chance to lead a dedicated team across Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and more, driving both top-line growth and profitability.


What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a clear, concise strategic plan that aligns with our vision and objectives, driving scalable and profitable growth.
  • P&L Management: Take full ownership of the business unit's financial performance, ensuring we meet and exceed sales, profitability, and working capital goals.
  • Team Leadership: Directly manage a diverse team across multiple functions and locations, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability.
  • Market Focus: Stay ahead of market trends and customer needs, leveraging insights to innovate and adapt our offerings in real-time.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, partners, and industry alliances, positioning HID as a leader in Authentication.
  • Talent Development: Cultivate and expand our talent pipeline, ensuring we have the right skills and leadership to continue our trajectory of success.

Who You Are:

  • Visionary Leader: You bring a wealth of experience in scaling software businesses, particularly within the SaaS and cloud-based authentication space. Preferably you have at least a few years of experience from managing a P&L.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have a proven track record in developing and executing business strategies that drive growth and innovation in competitive markets.
  • Industry Expert: You possess deep knowledge of the Authentication and Identity industry, with a strong network and the ability to navigate complex market dynamics.
  • Agile Innovator: You're skilled in Scaled Agile and Lean Portfolio Management, preferably with experience in driving OKRs and other performance measures to meet strategic goals.
  • Dynamic Communicator: Your ability to communicate effectively at all levels-internally and externally-sets you apart, making you a trusted leader and collaborator.
  • Global Mindset: With experience leading multi-location teams, you thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and are ready to travel as needed.
