Business Development Representative

- The Metrix Company, a medical device manufacturer, is seeking an experienced sales professional for an on-site role in Dubuque, Iowa. The person in this position is responsible for increasing product sales, maximizing margins, generating customer leads, and assuring customer satisfaction.
- Sells products through verbal and written communication, customer visits at Metrix, traveling to customer location, and attending trade shows
- Organizes trade show calendar and manages all associated tasks
- Markets products and maintains company image through advertising, trade shows, brochures, website, social media, etc.
- Facilitates accounts receivable collection in coordination with the Customer Service Coordinator and contacts customers as necessary
- Oversees Customer Service and Shipping / Receiving functions
- Must possess ability to influence others, organize workflow and provide follow-up in a timely manner
