The role you’ll contribute:

The Senior Manager of Performance Analytics will be responsible for leading a team of performance improvement specialists, project coordinators, project managers, and/or analytics professionals. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, performance measurement, and strategy development. The Senior Manager will drive the implementation of a comprehensive performance analytics strategy, utilizing advanced analysis techniques to derive insights and identify opportunities for process optimization. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, be proficient in analytics tools and technologies, and have the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's performance and drive data-driven decision making.

Performance Analytics Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive performance analytics strategy to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop measurement frameworks to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable analytics initiatives.

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Oversee the analysis of large and complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

  • Utilize statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to support decision-making processes and drive performance improvements.

  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

Performance Improvement Initiatives

  • Collaborate with performance improvement specialists to identify performance gaps and develop strategies for improvement.

  • Lead the design and implementation of performance improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable outcomes.

  • Monitor the progress of performance improvement projects, track key milestones, and provide guidance to ensure successful execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Communicate performance insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify their analytics needs and provide relevant solutions to support their decision-making processes.

Data Security

  • Ensure users have appropriate access to products following common security frameworks within the organization and requirements of US health systems.

  • Follow all rules and regulations governing the use and sharing of protected data both internally, as well as transfers of data external to the organization.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Analytics, Computer Science

  • OR , a related field with 5 years relevant experience in a leadership role with direct reports.

OR

  • Master's degree in Healthcare, Business, Analytics, Computer Science,

  • OR , a related field with 3 years relevant experience in a leadership role with direct reports.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt within 12 months of hire

PREFERRED:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare analytics or in a related industry (Hospital, Outpatient, Pharmaceutical, Finance, Operations, Process Improvement)

  • Technical tool certifications (SQL, Power BI, Excel, BusinessObjects)

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

  • CAPM or PMP certification
