Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and development of firmware applications and drivers in Embedded Linux and/or Embedded Windows environment.Design and development of new product architectures and deployment planning.Strong involvement in product from inception through launch, interacting with early users, understanding customer needs, and driving solutions to meet or exceed expectations.Development of project tasks, timelines and reporting regularly on progress.Investigation of complex system problems and driving engineering solutions to improve products and processes.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related knowledge and experience with both applications and driver development.Expert with modern development tools (IDEs): Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc.Experience with Embedded RTOS design especially Embedded Linux highly desirable.Experience in C/C++ and other higher level languagesExperience with standard communication interfaces: USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, etc.Understanding of VHDL or Verilog within FPGAs.Experience with motion controls and/or vision systems a plus.Demonstrated understanding of standard design practices including revision control, design for manufacturing, design for test, and design for reliability.Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and communicate across related disciplines.Job Performance Characteristics:
Comfortable working with others in a laboratory environment.Strong written and oral communication skills able to solve problems and document solutions.Accountable for developing innovative solutions that meet time and budgetary constraints.Able to prioritize tasks and deliver high impact solutions independently.Willing to mentor or lead less experienced team members.The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $96,000 to $120,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
