Supervisory Contract Specialist

Serve as a senior advisor to commanders, directors, and other key officials on all aspects of contract acquisition and oversight.
Participate in operational planning with top management and key operating officials in order to advise on the contracting implications of proposed management decisions and to recommend alternatives based on acquisition considerations.
Direct preparation of solicitation documents, pre-proposal conferences, proposal evaluation, negotiation and competitive range determination.
Plan, develop, and establish the contractual strategy for the overall acquisition program.
Manage overall operations to include government property administration.
Develop program metrics for the Division based on analysis of local operations and conducts periodic evaluations against those metrics.
Implement performance efficiencies, promotes team building and improves business practices.
Exercise independent judgment in resolving many complex contracting issues not adequately covered by existing regulations.
