Our team supports the infrastructure of local grassroots-level racing all the way up to the professional touring series all across the country, as well as our corporate offices and remote functions. At Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, we host over 100 days of track activity between our famous ¼ mile drag strip and our 7/10-mile oval track.Â

The Job
We seek personnel to assist with race operations. This role is positioned alongside the track and require the ability to react quickly in the event of an emergency. The positions withing race operations consists of track prep, various areas of the staging lanes, and on the drag strip (ready line, water box, and start line) at the NHRA Midwest Nationals at Worldwide Technology Raceway. This takes place September 27th-29th and entails work which can include long hours (12-14+) outside in potentially extreme weather, and in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.Â
- Must be flexible with meal periods. Â
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must have a valid driverâs license and be insurable under NHRA insurance policy.Â
- A general knowledge of racing is preferred.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
