- The Security Supervisor position will investigate complaints of criminal activity, guest misconduct and employee misconduct.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- The Security Supervisor will conduct investigations and gather intelligence to detect unlawful conduct or violations of Caesars Entertainment by employees or others, as directed by the Security Director or higher
- The Security Supervisor position will interact with Investigators from other properties as necessary.
- The Security Supervisor will communicate with other departments as needed relative to investigations.
- The Security Supervisor must demonstrate the ability to effectively conduct both a formal and informal interview.
- The Security Supervisor will review video surveillance as required.
- The Security Supervisor will prepare reports and evidence for use in legal actions
- The Security Supervisor will be "on call" 24 hours, 7 days a week, and as such, will respond to the property at the request of the Security Director or higher authority.
- The Security Supervisor will represent the company and provide factual testimony at legal court proceedings and State Unemployment Hearings.
- The Security Supervisor will represent the company and provide factual testimony at Caesars Entertainment Administrative Hearings.
- The Security Supervisor will manage and participate in internal integrity checks, as warranted.
- The Security Supervisor will maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- The Security Supervisor must be willing to comply with long flexible hours during the course of an investigation.
- The Security Supervisor will track, analyze and maintain an incident database of trends and patterns to develop a pro-active curse of action, and will communicate trends and intelligence with all Caesars Entertainment investigative personnel.
- The performance of the Security Supervisor position will be measured by monitoring the Supervisor's ability to work a case from beginning to completion.
- Also, to be measured will be the Supervisor's abilities to form working relationships with individuals from other departments, relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, and in establishing and maintaining a database for later retrieval of information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent is required
- Prior experience in a position with direct guest contact is preferred.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once
- A thorough knowledge of accepted Gaming and Security procedures
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs
- Must possess investigative and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to obtain a Maryland Special Police Commission
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTCS / ATTRIBUTES:
- Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene and may wear the appropriate attire as required for the assignment.
- Set an example and be a role model / leader for all Security personnel through observance of all departmental policies and procedures.

- Must be able to make rational decisions when handling guest and employee issues.

- Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to see and, also, remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
- Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
- The Security Investigations Supervisor responds to visual and aural cues, and must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
