Overview:

Student Athlete NIL (SANIL), a fan experience business leading major athletic programs through the
next chapter of college sports, is hiring a Director of Marketing to manage the customer journey of
fans at over 50 D-I collegiate institutions.

This position will report to the SANIL President and manage both an internal marketing team and
external partners and agencies. The ideal candidate is a creative, process-oriented, and data-driven
strategist ready to lead SANIL and its clients in pursuit of new frontiers in major college athletics. The goal of the position is to drive memberships at our 50+ collectives.

Position Overview:
  •  Plan, execute, and measure omni-channel marketing strategies deployed across SANIL’s business units to bring fans down the lead funnel
  •  Build a lead funnel of fans at each of SANIL’s business units
  •  Leverage SANIL’s owned, purchased, and earned media assets to engage fans from the awareness to the retention relationship phases
  •  Develop and grow the brands of each of SANIL’s business units through marketing campaign execution and community engagement
  •  Manage and grow a team of marketing managers and coordinators executing campaigns across social, digital, and in-person platforms
  •  Manage external partners and stakeholders executing key marketing campaign functions
  •  Work alongside Client Success and Account Teams to understand each of SANIL’s business units’ fanbases, market needs, and campaign opportunities to develop custom marketing campaigns
  • Work alongside SANIL’s Regional Directors and sales staff to communicate sales opportunities on owned and purchased assets
  • Research industry trends to incorporate best practices into the strategy of SANIL digital marketing strategy
 
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years experience managing omni-channel marketing campaigns across social, digital, and  traditional media channels
  • Experience with Google Analytics, email automation platform(s), and social  media analytics software, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required. 
  • Proven results driving revenue growth through planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns with set KPIs against a pre-established budget
  • Proven results building and managing a customer relationship journey, including lead funnel  development and conversion
  • Proven results building unique brands specific to unique target audiences
  • Experience managing a marketing team executing an omni-channel marketing strategy
  • Experience in or willingness to learn the business of college athletics and the student-athlete name, image, and likeness (NIL) industry
  • Strong interpersonal, time-management, creative, and team-building skills
